Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse

Located in downtown West Point, Georgia, Chatabrewchee Southern Brewhouse is the only brewery in America owned by an active duty woman. Kathy Denehy serves as a major in the U.S. Army and co-owns the brewery with her husband who is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the army. The brewery opened in 2017 and is located on 4th avenue in West Point, on the border between Georgia and Alabama.

The brewery is most known for its self-serve station that allows customers to pour as little as one ounce of beer. This user-friendly model gives beer lovers the option of tasting beers without purchasing an entire flight or pint. Chatabrewchee is the only brewery in the area to offer this self-serve system.
