Choral Society of West Georgia
Lafayette Society for Performing Arts
For almost three decades the LSPA has led the way in providing cultural opportunities for residents to participate in and for others to enjoy. Year-round performances are scheduled, inviting audiences to enjoy everything from sophisticated ballet and live theatre to homespun storytelling. Several arts groups operate under the umbrella of LSPA including The Lafayette Ballet Company, The Young Singers of West Georgia, Azalea Storytelling Festival, and The Lafayette Theatre Company.
LaGrange Art Museum
The LaGrange Art Museum was founded in 1963 and is located in downtown LaGrange. The museum occupies a renovated three-story 1892 Victorian building. Changing exhibits feature a wide range of artists. Art classes are also available.
Lamar Dodd Art Center
The Lamar Dodd Art Center is home to the Fine Arts Department of LaGrange College. The Art Center displays a permanent collection of Lamar Dodd’s work and also features temporary exhibits throughout the year. Dodd, a LaGrange native, became the head of the University of Georgia School of Art, which is also named in his honor.

LaGrange College – Music & Theatre
LaGrange College is a community leader in providing cultural offerings to its students, as well as the community as a whole. Outstanding creative productions sponsored by the College’s theatre department are held each season at Price Theater.
LaGrange Symphony Orchestra
For more than 20 years, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra (LSO) has been enriching the local community through music. Reaching across a broad spectrum of ages and interests, the LSO is proud to play an integral role in the LaGrange-Troup County arts scene.
Legacy Museum On Main
Legacy Museum on Main tells the story of the people of West Georgia. Using temporary and permanent exhibits of photographs, artifacts, and documents, the museum brings to life the history and traditions of a population rich in diversity. Housed in a 1917 bank building, the museum is located in the Downtown LaGrange Historic District. The Troup County Archives is located above the museum.

New Horizon Community Theatre
Established in 1986 as The Painted Rock Players, the group now known as New Horizon Community Theatre has presented more than 300 performances of 92 productions to over 45,000 patrons. From Broadway musicals to drama to children’s shows to slapstick comedy, “The Players” perform in venues in the Greater Valley and West Point area. The season runs from July through June and consists of four productions.
