“Eat, Sleep, Art, Repeat” – Winter at LaGrange Art Museum

A new exhibit at LaGrange Art Museum, “Eat, Sleep, Art, Repeat” explores the vital fuels that every human needs to survive, food and sleep. From Pablo Picasso’s Children Sleeping to the ceramic vessels used in ancient Greece to store food, artists have long depicted eating and sleeping as essential elements of human existence.

From November 15, 2022 until March 4, 2023, experience this wonderful exhibition at LaGrange Art Museum. Pieces on display include works from Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Bob Blackburn, Alexia Markarian and others. These artists all present unique views on the topics of sustenance and sleep, and their works are all stunning in their own unique way. The art displayed throughout the exhibit is from a variety of collections, including those of LaGrange Art Museum, Lamar Dodd Art Center, The Cochran Gallery and artist Annie Greene.

This exhibition is family friendly and ideal for introducing young artists to the stories that can be told through a vast array of mediums. The museum welcomes all visitors to tour “Eat, Sleep, Art, Repeat” for free, but encourages donations in support of the Arts.
