Bring your swimsuit, hat and sunscreen for your big water adventure! There are two options for your water adventure: West Point Lake or the Chattahoochee River.
For a lake adventure, head to Highland Pines Resort and Marina and rent a kayak, hydrobike or stand-up paddle board. Take a leisurely cruise across the lake, chatting and watching for wildlife in one of the most beautiful places in Georgia.
If you choose the river option, stop at GLL Outdoors in West Point for all-inclusive rentals of a single or double kayak and all the necessary gear. Your trip will begin just below West Point Dam; you’ll paddle smooth water for a couple of hours while enjoying luscious West Georgia scenery!
Take a leisurely ride downtown with bike rentals from Goldens Bike Shop. With short and long-term rentals available, you’ll find exactly the bike you need for your excursion.
There are many interesting things to see in LaGrange’s historic downtown area. As an added bonus, venture on your bike to nearby Broad and Vernon Streets to see some of the oldest homes in LaGrange, several of which pre-date the Civil War.
