In addition to the music, Sweetland’s intimate outdoor venue captures the beautiful serenity of our city. Perfect for a night out, check out their summer setlist below!

TEST YOUR ARM

In the heart of downtown lies the perfect activity to initiate some healthy competition. Talented staff will give a brief lesson on the proper axe throwing technique and whiteboards are supplied at each of the twelve lanes to keep track of scores. Food and beverages are sold at the front desk.

SWEET SOUNDS OF SUMMER

Sweetland Amphitheatre is a venue well-known for it’s incredible shows and unbeatable scenery. Bring a blanket and let the kids spread out on Sweetland’s immaculate lawn while parents enjoy a craft beer or relaxing glass of wine. Hit the water (indoors or out in nature) on Day 2! Choose between kayaking the beautiful Chattahoochee River, exploring Great Wolf Lodge’s 93,000 square foot waterpark, or both! Finish your night in style with a trip to the movies to end your fun-filled day.

PADDLE ON

Positioned on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, GLL Outdoors is your one-stop shop for a kayaking excursion. The rental supplies you with life vests, paddles, and the option of a single or double kayak. A caravan will take you to the starting point just below West Point Dam. Paddle for a couple hours on the smoothly flowing water while taking in the tranquil surroundings.

WATER SLIDES GALORE

Your stay at Great Wolf Lodge includes access to the 93,000-sq. ft. water park’s pools and slides, kept warm at 84-degrees year-round. The enormous indoor water park features numerous water slides, water treehouses, wave pools, floating lily pads, toddler-friendly wading pools, and much, much more. Reserve a day pass if you’re staying outside the resort, so you don’t miss any of the action!

PASS THE POPCORN

A classic family activity, who can say no to a night at the movies? Catch the latest flicks in style at LaGrange’s beautiful AMC Classic. Designed in the same timeless style as the rest of downtown, this theatre blends in perfectly with the historic structures of downtown. Catch the newest superhero movie or treat the family to an animated adventure, don’t forget the popcorn!

Centered around downtown, Day 3 explores some of the incredible businesses that help LaGrange shine. Experience the best in hospitality at one of many delicious downtown restaurants in between shopping, exploring and making memories to last a lifetime.

PARENTS: SAMPLE CRAFT BEVERAGES

With its expansive taproom, outdoor plaza and brewhouse, Wild Leap Brew Co. is a must-visit while in LaGrange. Their smooth, house-made spirits open the door to a host of creative cocktails as well as their ever-changing rotation of internationally renowned craft beer. Favorites like Chance IPA and LMNADE have become regional must-drinks, and spearheaded Wild Leap’s expansion throughout the state.

CAN WE SEE A KICKFLIP

Situated mere meters from Wild Leap is a new installation for LaGrange, Southbend Park. Southbend is completed by huge playgrounds, a dog park, skatepark and pavilion with plenty of seating. With its three distinct playgrounds designed for varying age groups, Southbend has become a popular spot for young people. The skatepark, designed by Tony Hawk, is beloved by local skaters and you’ll usually see a scooter or two!

SHOP DOWNTOWN LAGRANGE

Within walking distance to Wild Leap is a diverse arrangement of shops to peruse. On Bull Street you will find an array of antique, boutique and department stores. One street over on Main Street you will find more antiques and a charming Southern gift shop. Emberglow, found near Lafayette Square, is an artisan collective featuring dozens of local artists and wares from around the area.

River Canyon Run is a family raft ride, so your whole family will gather in one tube to enjoy the twisting adventure together. For the adrenaline junkies, Thunder River provides a thrilling drop into three successive water features. These features and so much more are what make this water park a family favorite.

CLIMB TO ADVENTURE

The Rustic Ridge Climbing Wall is a 21-foot challenge that’s appropriate for all skill levels. Great Wolf Lodge’s expert staff will assist climbers into a safety harness and provide helpful tips for success.

At Ten Paw Alley, everyone will find success and fun in lanes designed for the whole family. Each player will find the perfect sized bowling ball and enjoy some healthy rivalry.
