From November 20 through February 15, 2021, The Great Lawn at Sweetland Amphitheatre transforms into Sweetland On Ice. Bring your family and friends to this winter wonderland and enjoy outdoor ice skating in downtown LaGrange, Georgia!
Sweetland On Ice offers affordable ice skating with rental skates available. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, the outdoor rink is completely covered by a tent, providing a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Not skating? Sweetland On Ice has plenty of outdoor seating with fire pits to keep you warm. Delicious concessions are available including gourmet coffee, hot cocoa and other treats.
Tickets include two hours of enjoyment on the ice rink. Once skates are returned, another ticket will needed to be purchased to skate again that day. The ice rink will be cleared periodically for ice maintenance and special programming.
Other nearby holiday happenings in downtown LaGrange include the beautifully decorated Downtown Square and plenty of boutique shops and restaurants.
Sweetland On Ice will be limited capacity to only 200 people under the Ice Rink Tent at one time. This will allow everyone ample space inside of the 5,500 sq. ft. ice rink plus surrounding areas. Hand sanitizing stations will be setup in several areas inside of the facility.
Please be aware that the Rink will be implementing a mandatory face mask policy this season. This means all guests, skaters and parents will be required to wear a mask while in the facility.
• Participants may remove their face masks when taking the ice, but should be put back on immediately following.
• Parents, guests and ice skaters may remove mask to eat and drink.
• Mask must be worn when walking around the facility.
• All staff members are required to wear a mask at all times.
• Any guests entering the facility without a face mask may purchase one from the front desk for $1.
The mask requirement is a precautionary measure to continue to go above and beyond the CDC’s required safety standards, and to further help limit the spread of COVID-19. Our team will continue to place an emphasis on wiping down handles, surfaces, tables, doors and all common areas.
